Product Safety and Quality

The confidence and trust of our customers relies on the standards we set to make safe and effective products of the highest quality. These actions help to ensure the highest quality products on which our customers rely on:

  • Procedures are in place to prevent diversion of our products from their intended distribution channels and to protect them from counterfeiting &/or tampering.
  • All products we purchase from suppliers meet the claimed standards.
  • Products meet quality and safety requirements and perform as required throughout their shelf life.

Our company works closely with health authority to ensure our quality systems are up-to-date and are continuously.

Our manufacturers and their manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements for quality management. ISO certification means that a quality management system has been thoroughly reviewed by an outside audit committee and found to satisfy rigorous standards.

Suppliers who supply pharmaceuticals, medical devices, OTC, Wellness equipments to meet current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as outlined by national medicine regulatory authority Sri Lanka.

Business Development & Partnerships

Successful business development transactions form a key component of its business strategy. Our suppliers has importance for our company, but it also brings great challenges and responsibility as we source goods and services from numerous suppliers from different countries each year. Purchased products account for most of our business revenues. That’s why suppliers play a critical role in our sustainability-oriented value-added chain.

When selecting a supplier, Safe Life Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd., looks not only for the most competitive and technology advanced candidates, but also sets high standards for sustainability. This is why we integrated sustainability requirements in all relevant supplier management processes and further develop them through ideas from our Medical Advisors. The emphasis is always on the principle of partnership development with suppliers and building competencies among them.

In each of our partnerships, we strive to build enduring, mutually beneficial relationships that can produce positive results for both parties.

We are interested in sales and marketing partnerships and product acquisition opportunities in Sri Lanka. We are exploring opportunities through Licensing and Alliances to draw maximum value from such arrangements. We continue to evaluate opportunities to add to our product basket, enhance our therapeutic presence and expand our distribution.

Ethics Compliance

Our compliance officer, who reports directly to the Board, is responsible for ensuring high ethical standards and compliance across our business. This includes:

  • Making sure that the company complies with all applicable regulations and laws.
  • Reinforcing the company’s overall commitment to ethical business practices and behavior, at every level of the company.

We also remain committed to operating openly and with integrity. We have taken significant steps recently to improve transparency, committing to public disclosure of our financial support for third-party groups and for healthcare providers who speak on behalf of or our products.
